Question: Having trouble with my Trooper dieing when I come to a stop.

My 2000 Trooper dies on me everytime I come to a stop, I am having to put my car in neutral at this point so it wil not die when I am at a stand still. it also dies right when I start it

I had this problem for a while in 04. I started braking with the left and giving a little extra gas to make it through. Anyway, it turned out to be a head gasket problem. I had to get both replaced. You might start there.

adjust your idle up higher and check vacumm lines

check your air filter; if it is dirty, (plugged) replace it, then check your trottle body, it problely has heavy carbon build up and needs to be clean.
