About the only thing left is the control panel. I would make sure the motor is not locked up and
getting power. Try the easiest thing first and have the motor checked to make sure it is working.
Then go from there.

My husband rewired mine somehow to direct power from the battery, it doesn't run unless the car is on but He did have to mount a toggle switch below my dash. BUT HECK- the whole fix cost about ten dollars and 20 minutes. Fan blows like hell ... he got the how to just by asking google. not this website though it was another guy who had done it. But A LOT of Durangos have shitty control panels/knobs so I bet that's the problem...and trust me you would rather have a toggle swith than rewire your whole dash. With the price you could buy a new damn car!!
